1. Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the OriginSpotter Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OriginSpotter is a Chrome browser extension that helps users identify the country of origin for products listed on Amazon websites. The Service provides:

• Automatic detection of product origin information
• Visual display of origin data on Amazon product pages
• Local caching of origin data for improved performance

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan allows users to view the country of origin for one (1) product. Additional products require a Pro subscription.

4.3 Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months or unused service
• You retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use
• Violate Amazon's terms of service while using our Service

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by OriginSpotter and is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with third-party services including:

• Amazon: We extract publicly available product information
• Google: Authentication services
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Clerk: User session management

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Origin information will be 100% accurate
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORIGINSPOTTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OriginSpotter from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.

14. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OriginSpotter.
